Making Money Online and Work at Home Jobs are 2 of the most searched for keywords online today. Why? Because we all have that dream of firing our boss and living our lives by our rules.

After years of looking, I can tell you that even telecommuting jobs are not "totally free" because you will most likely have to get a 2nd dedicated phone line and a headset and let's not forget the price we pay for internet connections. As with gas for commuting to a brick-and-mortar job, every job has some costs. Freebie trading doesn't fall under the umbrella of totally free work at home Internet jobs, but comes darn close. How many Internet jobs cost you under $5 to get started? What other Internet job can earn you Dollars per day as opposed to Cents? What other Internet job pays you immediately - THAT DAY - when you do the job requirments?

Let's face it, if you are looking for a way to make some money online, you most likely don't have a ton of money in your budget to invest. And, the risk in so many new ventures is just too high! That's why freebie trading is so great for the average guy or gal next door. It's not a high risk venture and you don't need to have a wallet full of cash to start. With just a $5 (or less) investment you can earn a profit. You can then take that profit and continue to re-invest and build profits. And you can do it TODAY, not spend some now and get a return in a month's time.

Those profits can be used to continue in freebie trading and/or investing in some of those more costly start-up online businesses. Freebie Trading is a great stepping stone and way to fund any other online business venture that you are interested in. Think about it! One of the most common terms you will read about in Internet Marketing is "Niche Market". Niche marketing is often the most effective way of marketing goods and services to the online community. But what exactly IS meant by the term: Niche Market?

According to Wikipedia, a niche market is the subset of the market on which a specific product is focusing

By definition, then, a business that focuses on a niche market is addressing a need for a product or service that is not being addressed by mainstream providers. You can think of a niche market as a narrowly defined group of potential customers.

Today, online marketing has created million-dollar businesses and has given people opportunities to earn income through the internet. It is one of the fastest-growing industries which had gained popularity all over the world in the past decade.

In trying to compete with bigger companies, a small company must find a way to identify a specific niche to focus it's marketing. Once a specific niche is identified, small biz owners are better able to reach their targets and focus their efforts to conquering the field.

Once a niche is identified, the next step is to research keywords that those customers would search for online. For example, is it a health product niche? What is the product? How about vitamins? Potential customers may search for "vitamins" but that would be a broad range. A better and more descriptive keyword for the niche might be: "natural vitamins for women". The more you can narrow and specify, the better targeted your marketing campaign will be toward that niche who will buy your product.

The growth of Niche Marketing has led to many marketers to review and revise their methods of marketing. Due to so much information "just a click away" online to anyone now, online marketers are more apt to use the technique of niche marketing. Take advantage of all the free tools Google has - it truly is a great asset to anyone starting out in Niche Marketing.

When trying to start making money online with Freebie Trading, it's always a good idea to have a mentor/guide/friend who can help you. Having someone who can show you step by step the best sites to do and the best way to go about moving along to maximize your profit is the best tool you can give yourself. Who wouldn't want someone who has "been there-done that"?

So, with that in mind, I went looking for some resources for you.

There is a group of veteran traders who have gotten together with the sole purpose of helping guide new traders at Simply Golden Freebies. As of now, there are 4 very well known traders in the Freebie World who are offering assistance. They have all made a name for themselves on the number 1 Trading Forum, FreeLunchRoom.com and have each made very impressive profits in what they do.

There are 2 other veteran traders who have their own website with the same purpose in mind - helping new traders make money. GreenForMoney has some great tutorials and tips on moving from Method 1 and into Method 2. Both traders are also very well established in the trading community. They also have a Blog about making money by going green that you can check out.

I plan on writing about some strategies and other money making opportunities in the coming days. I have come across a great website that helps (for free) with all sorts of ways to Make Money Online. Grizz explains stuff from how important backlinking is on your websites and blogs to information about Google Adsense. It's a wealth of information for anyone trying to start an online business. 3 Ways to Make Money With Freebie Trading:

1. Get paid by a freebie trader (someone that refers people to the IFWs) by signing up for trial offers.

There are online forums full of freebie traders. They will pay you anywhere from $15 to $80 for what is called "going green" for them. Going Green = Meeting the requirements of the IFW by signing up for enough trial offers. Once you go green, your trade partner will pay you a pre-determined amount. It's a great way to learn how it works and to get paid to try some cool products and services.

2. Refer others to IFWs

There are several ways to get referrals. The best way is to get friends and/or family members to sign up under your account at the IFWs and sign up for trial offers. Once they go green, you place an order with the IFW, who pays you directly to your PayPal account. This is where the majority of freebie traders make their money because you usually don't have to pay friends and family.

Another way to get referrals is by finding them on some of the online trading forums. The top 2 forums out there are Freelunchroom.com and Anything4Free.com. You don't have to go searching for referrals on your own - they come to the forum on their own looking to get paid to go green. It's a fun way to make extra money and make some friends in the forum communities.

3. Sell freebie prizes on eBay

While most choose to get paid money in their PayPal accounts when "cashing out" on a referral's green at the IFW, that's not the only way you can make a profit. These IFWs also have prizes such as: Wii's, PS3's, iPhones, iPods, etc. They will require more than one referral's green (anywhere from 2 to 6). After you have the required amount of referrals, you order your prize.

You can then sell these prizes on eBay. Your profit will be determined on how much the final sale price is but you can definitely turn this side of the business into some great extra income.

In my last blog, I posted the list of the top 20 of MSN's Top 52 Ways to Make Extra Money. I thought I'd pull out some of the most common Online Ways to Make that Money and give some details about them...

• Freelance writing jobs- These days it's all about content on websites to get them ranked high on search engines. There are many opportunities for you to make money from home by writing articles and posting to blogs for other people who don't have time to do it for themselves. Many business owners just don't have the time, talent, or desire write their own content. They would much rather pay someone else to write and post for them in hopes of generating more traffic to their websites. Depending on the bidding competition for certain writing jobs, you can make anywhere from $4 per blog post to up to around $20 per article you right.

• Get paid to sites (GPT) - Definitely not a "get rich" thing but can help add to that extra money making potential online. You can get paid to view websites, emails, complete surveys, and more. Most are pennies or less so it can take time to build up any income but it's a nice way to compliment other online income streams.

• Selling photos- There are sites out there who need new photos and will pay for yours if you have the skills. Hiring an "in-house" photographer can be expensive so some sites that offer money to people, who make it a hobby to take pictures. Just know you will give up re-sell rights if you choose to do this. The websites will use your pictures to sell them to other clients.

• Expertise- Are you an authority on a certain subject? Would you like to get paid to answer questions about it? If so, you could get paid pretty well in some cases. Sites, for example About.com, pay monthly for that type of service. Also, some others will pay by the hour according to the level of your expertise. Just look around - Google it! :)

• Freebie Trading - Trade referrals on IFW's (Incentivized Freebie Sites). Get paid or pay others to go green (complete offer requirements of the IFW). You get to try out cool products and services that interest you and you might try anyway. It's a great hobby with forums full of people doing the same thing. It's a very real extra income opp! I've been doing Freebie Trading to make money online for over a year now. The concept is simple and can work for anyone. It's perfect for stay at home moms who want to earn extra money to help with household expenses. It's great for college students who need to make some extra money to pay for books and weekends out. It's even great to help supplement a retiree's income.

What is Freebie Trading?

Freebie Trading is when people sign up on IFW's (Incentivized Freebie Websites) thru someone's referral link and try trial offers of products or services. Then, when they've done enough to meet the requirments of the IFW, or freebie site, the site pays the person that sent them there. And that person pays the referral who did the trial offers. The companies that advertise pay the IFW. It's truly a win-win-win situation for all involved! A legit and fun way to make money online!

Where do you find people to trade with?

There are two top forums online that are full of thousands of people making money at home by trading freebies.
The biggest and most "newbie" friendly forum is:

Freelunchroom.com

Freelunchroom (called FLR by the traders) is a very family friendly forum. Mostly composed of stay at home moms and adults who have turned this into their work at home job. The "feel" is PG-13 and everyone is extremely friendly and always willing to help. If you ask a question on Freelunchroom, it will be answered in seconds...not hours or days. With over 122,000 registered members, you are never alone. It's a great place to meet new friends who have the same interests as you - making money online and being able to spend time with family.

The 2nd forum I recommend is:

Anything4Free.com

Anything4Free (called A4F by the traders) is a little more laid back because there are not as many members. It is, however, an older forum that has members who have been doing freebie trading for 3 to 5 years. There are more younger traders on this forum. It tends to lend itself more to the college age crowd, but all ages trade on the forum.

I suggest looking at both places and just finding your "niche" and what atmosphere you feel more comfortable in. Trading on both forums is done by many so feel free to do the same.

Do you need money to start?

To start freebie trading, you only need about $5. That money is not to pay anyone or a fee. It's to pay for any charges for the trials you do. Some are completely free. Some are less than $5. Usually, there will be a shipping and handling charge or $3 to $5, though.

You really can "go green" (this is completing an IFW) for $5 or less. And then you end up getting paid, on average, about $20 for that green. After that, you can just keep reinvesting and building your profits. In the end, you will use these forums to get your own referrals to "go green" for you on the sites you complete. Then, that $5 can turn into $40 each time you have a referral "go green" for you. I started with $10 and now, I average well over $1,000 (profit...after paying my referrals, which is usually 1/2 of what the IFW pays) each month.

What are the requirements?

*You must be over 18 years old
*You must be a resident of U.S. or Canada (some sites allow for Australia and UK)
*You must have a Verified Paypal Account (this is free and easy to set up) - this is how you get paid by your trader and by the freebie site when you start getting your own referrals
*You must have a valid Credit Card or Debit Card (no prepaid cards or gift cards allowed)
*You must use valid/correct information when signing up for the trial offers
*You must actually try what you sign up for (you can't just sign up and then cancel)

It's really the best and easiest way to make real money online for the average person. You don't need $100's of dollars to start. You WON'T get rich and you can't just quit your "real job" but you can and will make supplemental income. I use this fun way to make money online to help pay for my vacations. I'm even going to a NASCAR race next month! Can't wait!
